  Château de Scalis
AOC Corbières
Selection


Presentation :
Produced in the terroir of Escales which has been classified as AOC CORBIERES, this wine is made from grapes harvested from the finest plots on our estate, "Château de Scalis".
Deep red with a wood flavored nose and aromas of red fruit and a hint of vanilla. Richly flavored with concentrated yet rounded, flavorful tannins. Best served at around 18°C.
Grape varieties :
Syrah 80%, Carignan en macération carbonique 10%, Grenache 10%.
Vinification :
The grapes are separately vinified in accordance with the traditional method. Carignan is subject to carbonic maceration while the other grapes are macerated 29 days. Finally, the grapes are pressed and the wine is aged for 18 months producing silky tannins.

    Château de Scalis
AOC Corbières

Presentation :
Produced in the terroir of Escales which has been classified as AOC CORBIERES, Château de Scalis is an intense deep red. Well balanced and delicate, this wine has a beautiful range of aromas, elegant tannins and a red fruit finish. Still young, this wine gains from being served with wild game. Best served at 18°C.
Grape varieties :
Syrah 60%, Grenache 20%, Carignan 20%.
Vinification :
The Carignan grapes are vinified using carbonic maceration while the syrahs and grenaches are traditionally vinified in temperature-controlled tanks at 29°C for five days.
Maceration for five days with daily "délestage".

             
 

Les 2 Terroirs
AOC Corbières

Presentation :
Grapes are grown in the terroir of Escales and selected from only the finest plots producing wines with a highly distinctive character. A deep red with purple tints, this wine has aromas of freshly picked red fruit with a slightly spicy, peppery flavor and a hint of candied fruit. The tannins are silky with an elegant finish. Perfect with a wide range of dishes. Best served at 17° -18°C.
Grape varieties :
Syrah 30%, Grenache 30%, Carignan 30%, Mourvèdre 10%
Vinification :
The Carignans are vinified using carbonic maceration while the other varieties are separately vinified. Fermentation lasts five days at under 29°C. Maceration for five days with daily "délestage".

De notre passion est née cette cuvée d’exception :
le Domaine COMBE du BUIS, « Les 2 Terroirs » en AOC CORBIÈRES.
Fruit d’une maturation poussée à l’extrême, les cépages nous offrent une multitude de sensations.
Grape varieties :
Grenache 28 %, Syrah 67 %, Mourvèdre 5 %.
