  Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon survives winter cold periods and rain thanks to its thick skin. The great wines made from ripe Cabernet sauvignon are black, richly flavoured and complex. They are fragrant of blackcurrant and blackberries, with a delicate wood flavor.

Grenache doesn’t need much rainfall and its upright stock helps it to resist violent winds such as the Mistral. A slow ripening grape, the Grenache is also a prolific producer. It is an intense, deep, purple and is appreciated for its aromas of bayleaf, eucalyptus, blackberry and licorice.

Merlot is usually blended with the very powerful Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a strong capacity to color a wine and produces highly characteristic, long keeping wines. It provides red fruit aromas including cherry and blackberry and as it ages it develops forest undergrowth aromas. On the palate, it is richly flavoured, velvety and delicate.

This grape ripens late and requires hot temperatures to do well. Its aromas of blueberry, truffle, and licorice produce a colorful, high alcohol content wine, rich in tannins and flavor. It is generally blended with other grapes such as the Grenache and the Syrah.

Syrah produces intensely colored, quality wines rich in tannins with strong aromatic potential. Syrah provides aromas of violettes, spices, pepper, and red fruit including blackcurrant, blueberry and blackberry.

    Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir wines have a beautiful dress color but little intense. Their aromatic pallets, red berries and black for young wines, cherry brandy and leather for older bottles, long lasting finish.
This grape produces complex wines, very colorful, very fragrant and balanced with a lot of fat and a good length and aging potential.
